Dr. Miller's current roles include teaching, assisting in program assessment, student advising, and helping oversee undergraduate curriculum development and enhancement. Her curricular focus areas are in biomedical engineering design, biomedical ethics, clinical immersion, and professional development. In addition, Dr. Miller's STEM research work that is currently funded by the National Science Foundation includes Discipline Based-Research (DBER) on biomedical engineering design self-efficacy. Her internally funded projects explore research in biomedical engineering needs identification in urban clinics. Her collective work aims to provide students with great curricular experiences, resources, and opportunities in the field of biomedical engineering.
