Virginia Rhodes is a recent graduate from IUPUI who is continuing her research on peer-led team learning (PLTL) workshops as a Visiting Research Associate at the STEM Education Innovation and Research Institute. Virginia received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Notre Dame and her Master of Science in Industrial Organizational Psychology from IUPUI. Her research interests include the integration of psychology and STEM research, as well as discovering ways STEM educators and practitioners can increase and promote diversity within their organizations. As such. her thesis focused on using allyship in employee testimonials on a fictional STEM company's website to increase anticipated belonging and trust for Black women. She is currently expanding on her previous research that centered around increasing women and ethnic minority students' self-efficacy through embedded peer role models in PLTL.
